Their carnitas are the business! However, I had some pretty dope carnitas over at Tres Portillos in Sunnyvale. That carnitas bowl was awesome. I'm in the hunt to find a spot that serves Al Pastor off the rotating gyro-like spit. I had al pastor that way when I was on a trip to Baja California/Mexico.

There is one place that I know of locally that does this, they make a super quesadilla with it that is just pure spicy Al Pastor and cheese wrapped up and toasted. Super spicy and fresh and awesome. This place runs out of the Chavez Supermarket in Sunnyvale, as in you walk in and it's at the back of the store by the meat. There is ALWAYS a big *** line exactly around lunch time because this place is cheap and good and all the locals come here.

At the end of the day I will eat at any one of these places depending on where I am and what time it is.

La Bamba is seriously good mexican food fast. But i'm not in that area too often any more.

La Vic is the go-to choice at 2AM, because i'm drunk and hungry and they are open.

During the day in SJ Iguana's is definitely a better quality burrito.

And on sunday mornings Flames has $8 bottomless mimosas! All you can drink champagne and orange juice every sunday? Hell yeah.

Yikes, Sunnyvale. Thankfully Chavez Supermarket is a small chain and there's one off Tennyson in Hayward. Much closer. I'll give it a try.

I have to admit, La Vics sauce is incomparable to any sauce in the WORLD! There burritos don't get any close to the Iguanas burritos.

La Taqueria for the win!

I didn't read the criteria of Super burrito, or I wouldn't have voted. Burritos are a big enough gut bomb without the sour cream, avocado and cheese!

I've been to La Vic's once, and recall it being mediocre. Like others have said, orange sauce is alright, and is really the best part. Without it, the food is really lackluster. Never been to Iguanas. I've been to Super Taqueria, and thought it was pretty good. That being said, how do these places compare to the El Gruyense "chain" in Palo Alto/Menlo Park?

I would let you know where my favorite place is but then I would have to wait in longer lines and that just isn't going to happen. Too many people have been letting this one out and the parking lot is already too damn small. I have eaten at a ****load of mexican places (including my grandmother's) and this one is easily the best.

The best sauce I've ever had though is up in Ukiah at a little place called Mi Pueblito. Even compared to my favorite place, their red sauce is top dog.
