Soooo KTVU is so stupid as to not have had red flags go off, even if the names were "confirmed"?

For a Bay Area newsroom to not be able to recognize if the names are Korean or not seems like a huge oversight. They already knew the pilots were Korean...

This all just sounds to me like it's totally KTVU's fault. The whole "Just read the prompt while we grab the exclusive so "We
are First" with this." is glaringly present.

Critical Error on their part. *Notice, in legalese, although the NTSB addresses something happened, at no point do they ever state, nor do I see them having gone back and stated that this is their fault "for providing the names". All they did was admit "confirming".

There was a time when people had credibility, those days are gone and people are getting used to doing whatever brings them a paycheck at the end of the day.

Sadly it appears KTVU is also now of that same mindset.

Even Ron Burgandy would be disappointed.

Looks like they're moving forward with the lawsuit. Nice way to deflect blame btw.

Asiana to proceed with TV station suit - CNN.com

I find it funny how they're saying a high school level prank has irreparably damaged their reputation. Like their reputation wasn't hurt at all when they crashed the ****ing plane!

Is the public still in the dark WHY Asiana flight 214 crashed?

Asiana sueing KTVU is stupid.

The crash is a tragedy. KTVU are idiots. There is no connection.

If people could and would do the jobs they are supposed to be able to do we wouldn't even be discussing this.
FTFY so we all are clear there is a connection.

Strange how all the original videos are "removed due to copyright claim from ktvu"
What a bunch of douchebags, trying to hide their shame. Wonder if ktvu will sue daily show & Colbert report?
