i heard those things scratch your car, at least leave swirl marks. i might get one if that wasnt true.

true , my buddy used one to dry his custom painted show truck, swirls, scratches, and like a white residue, but i have some too to use for other stuff in the kitchen and what not

Yeah those are no good for your cars. I got some for Xmas didn't dry my car any better and left lots of swirls and streaks.
