All any of these "charitys" ever talk about is awareness. All they are doing is making you aware of their charity and how you can donate to them.
Before donating to anything id recommend checking them out on guidestar.org. You'll find that many well known charirys do absolutely nothing, Susan g komen being one of the worst.
