Katsu Don

So I am heading up to SF to run the Nike Women's Marathon and I would like to know where I can eat a good katsu don. I need to eat a katsu don a day or two before I run a marathon(Marathon is sunday and I am driving up tomorrow)... it's like a tradition. I'll be staying in San Mateo thur so it can be anyway from like San Jose to SF.

Good Katsu Don for good luck. Please help a brother out

I am also gonna bike around the area. Suggestion? I'll definitely bike around the golden gate bridge.

Thanks!

I personally love the katsu don at Kintetsu Mall in Japantown, in SF. There's a place at the west end like next to or one space away from a crepe place. I can't remember the name 100% and don't want to toss out random names of restaurants there and send you to the wrong one! There are a ton of places in that mall to eat though, most of which will have katsu don.

If you're in San Mateo, Yuzu makes all other sushi joints look like little *****es

But for katsudon... ya got me stumped! Lemme think about it a bit and get back to you

Man, Abi and I spent over $200 at Yuzu's. It's fun talking cantonese with the chief.
