Good guy Matt gives credit to the guy who took the photo of his car.

On a side note, I seriously could have stood around and photographed your car for about a day and a half, man. Had to limit myself to just one shot or I'd drown in a puddle of drool.

Ya those are the VW flares that people are trying. Not wide enough for bigger rubber.
You should sign up so we can get them made, then save up for wheels and do the mod when you are ready.

Right now I run a 17x9 Weds sport wheel with a 245 tire and it slightly pokes out in the back, while my front is slightly tucked in from the front sedan conversion. You can tell at this angled pic the most. If this goes through I'm going to swap the front back to stock and just run the flares. A 275 on my 17x9s would be perfect I think for my setup and has alot of great tire choices in that size. I know some are looking to go wider.

I am probably going to run at least an 18x9.5, and should be running a 285 tire.
That is not what I am going after with this.

I don't know about that blue car above. Something bugs me about it and I'm not sure exactly what it is. I guess I'd rather see a car with the right wheels and running real tires. If I made those modifications to my wagon it would be so I could run 275's.

If I could afford it I'd be in. Really sorry. I'll be watching progress on it.

I hear you on that one too regarding the wagon. I am looking to do it with a meaty tire, and wouldn't be that low either.
