I've been part of product development before. I've help produce parts and help push parts through production and out to the market. It's not easy. The first group of people are going to be the people that find the flaws, help fix them, make the install video, post how great stuff is on the forums and help sell future products. IMO those people should get substantial discounts.
Like I said man. Not knocking the product. It's a great product. He does an excellent job with them and from what I can tell cares about making a quality part. And small market/small number parts always cost more.
When you see them side by side with alternatives, the Karlton flares fit way better and look like they fit the original lines really well. Just a really nice fit

Yes I guess you could say heavy modification. Cutting the front fenders, cutting and resealing or welding the rear fenders. Most likely adios to the fender liners, or at least most of them.

Fender liners will no longer work with these. At most you can keep a small portion of the backsides so you aren't throwing crap into your door jams. (Which is what I did on mine)
Definitely can't go back once you've committed to these.

Yup. Cut all the appropriate sheet metal etc.

Possibly. Hard part is you cut off most of the tabs that hold the fender liners in when cutting the fender.
You can retain your liners if you really want. What I did on a friend's car is made slits in the fender, folded them in and up, glued them back together to make a lip, heated up the liners with a heat gun and stretched the liner up and onto the lip. I had to do this as he has a cai that he wanted to keep. On my car I run the back half of the liner only
