Hey guys. I am in the process of buying a WRX, so i just wanted to introduce myself. I am selling my Nissan 300zx and they had a bay area club too, which is very active too. I live in Danville, but right now im at school at UC Berkeley so i live in berkeley.

I guess i just wanted to ask a few questions. Im looking for a black sedan. I found one in walnut creek for $15,750 with 68000 miles and one for 16k with 50k miles but also an extended warranty plan. How are the prices of these cars?

A guy just posted on craigslist a 2004 sedan with just 20k miles for $20,000. Do you guys like the 02 or 04 better?

naw...i dont think i have the money for that. Im looking to spend around 15k or 16k. That 04 one im hoping i can haggle down a bit cause his price seems a little unfair

 

yeah get a 04/05 model..personally its the best looking one

 

Get the 02-03 bugeye's because they look better

i got my 02 wagon with 30k and a sunroof (cough automatic as well cough) for 15-16k, forgot exactly, almost two years ago. You should be able to find a much better price than what you're getting. Look on the subaru boards rather than autotrader etc. By the way, bugeyes are better and mbp>jbp.

 

the 04/05 have better trannies, no clutch shudder issues, nicer seats, and the 05 has nicer center console.

 

ahhh dammit...if only i could sell my 01 RS RIGHT NOW!!! hold onto that puppy for me for a few months hehe

I think im going to go with the 2002. There are two black ones on sale on craigslist both for around 16k. Is that way too much? I hope im gettin it this weekend. I cant wait!!
