Just had my 3rd interview.......

for a so-called management trainee sales position. The pay is, $2850 gross per month @ 51 hours per week(7am-6pm, and a few hours on Sat).........I know I'm broke and student loans are due but am I that broke to work that much for so little? Who would take this job?

102 hrx x 4 wks = 408 hrs per mo
$2850 / 408 hrs = $6.98 per hr BEFORE taxes... after is probably $5.58 or so

damn... i would not take that job. BUT if you have no choice and bills to pay.. you gotta suck it up.

The regular medical, dental and 401K. Not bad. I just feel like my college education would be a waste at a job like this, granted it is working with cars, renting and selling them.

Oh yeah and during the interview with the Regional VP I mentioned I-Club and Subie meets as my intrests and he totally tried to use this as leverage to lure me into wanting the job. He was a total salesman.

$14/hr isn't great; but hey, in this economy, it'll hold you over til you find somethign else, right? i'd take it, especially if your UE gets cut in 3 wks.
