you gotta be kidding me-
dealers whoring out cars and it's not even halfway through the model year yet-
i can understand if it's a neon or a civic or a focus..... but it's not. it hurts the suby community in general in terms of resale value- - - - that is so gay.
but hey if they offer it jump on it. make sure that they don't bite your trade.... example. they give you $12,000 for the trade.. in their deal screen they ACV(actual cash value) it 15,000..... that may be one way they justify the giveaway price- btw, i know a little about the business

As a former lot atendent who was better at hanging around the sales office, I know a little bit as well gdogg.
I fully expect to get reamed on the trade in. That's generally how the game works. All I can hope for is to not get as reamed as hard possible.
UPDATE! I go in on Sunday for them to see my trade. Some stuff came up today that I had to take care of.

Blown shocks/struts (my own problem, not VW's, but bear with me hear)
4 MAF's
No A/C because of an undetectable leak. (No really, I've even tried that UV dye twice. Nothing. yet it won't hold refrigarant. Holds vacumm though...)
No real AM reception (sucks cause I love Don and Mike.)
Dent's and dings that are just scary in some places.
Interior that has bit's that just fall off randomly.
This week my door lock cylinder broke, so I can't lock my car. New key and cylinder? At least 200+.
400 a month just for the car note. 180 for the insurance, and 40 to fill it up about 3-4 times a month at 300-350 miles a tank.
Getting depresse just thinking about it.
