Overbear,

By your argument internal combustion engines, and he'll, even cars are outdated! It's all old technology. Now you'll respond that car technology has progressed and developed, therefore it's still valid for our "modern" society. Guess what else has progressed and developed... bike technology!

Bikes have gotten lighter, more efficient, faster, easier to ride, more comfortable, more versatile, etc, etc. Comparing the archaic bikes of the past to what we currently use is like comparing a Model T to your Subaru.

You obviously have issues with certain types of bikers rather than bikes themselves. That is an entirely valid argument and I would even agree with most of it. Blaming the actual use of the bike on everything and calling it out dated technology does nothing but discredit your argument.

Another thread got 'overbeared'.

Why does anyone waste their time giving him a serious response?

Back on topic, the Hasidic Jews in Williamsburg pull a lot of weight politically since there are so many of them, it doesn't surprise me they pulled this off.

How many traffic laws did you break doing it?
Riding on the sidewalk, running red lights/stopsigns....

Hell no! I'd rather run a bicyclist over while I'm in my car than to have a bicycle run me over while I'm walking around!

back in the day I didn't drive. I road my bike over 200 miles a week. To and from work, school, church, the store, etc. If it rained I bused it.

Bikes are great.....

and you know what.... I'm 60 pounds heavier now that I don't ride anymore.
