I'm hoping that the RS will eventually be the best of the bunch. But yeah, it needs a new paint job (priority #1001). Priority#1 is to get the motor running ... we've got the STI 6spd in there with the "plated" center diff, Kaaz Rear Diff with the 3.9 ring gear. Suspension work is so costly ... but luckily, when I bought the chassis, it had some version of the STI suspension already in there (which should be good enough for now). This project is close to 11 months in the making ... when I get the $, I buy another little piece. Eventually it will all come together.

My WRX is sold ... well we are working on the paper work. I lost my pink slip and I need to figure out how to get a new copy of it. That's the only thing holding it up. Any advice?

It will be a very sad day, when I don't have it as an option to drive. I still love that car ... it handles very well (from my track videos, it is grossly apparent that the car is better than the driver).

I wish I could afford to buy your WRX. Anyhow, as for the lost Pink Slip, there is a form you can pick up from DMV that declares you want to transfer ownership, but w/ a lost pink slip. Here's the link to the DMV page. Just click on the (REG 227) link to download the form you need (PDF file).

I hope this helps. Good luck on the sale.

Hi Soren,
Thanks ... i got that form already. The buyer's leasing company wants me to get the physical paper before I can transfer. I told them that it was the same thing, but all in one step. Then they stated they had procedures to follow ... oh, well. I'm off to the DMV today.

Pshhh, that's nothing. If we are all about trying to make people jealous, I got an 800 square foot apartment in the middle of the ghetto, and a 76' schwinn cruiser I found in a dumpster, that still has the original bell on the handle bars It puts my RS to shame!
