Its SMOG Time....Recs for an SF-area Shop, Purdy Please??
Hey all,
Well, it's time to pay the smog man & renew my registration. I've been outa the loop for a while as far as the Bay car scene goes. Can someone point me towards a "no hassles" shop in or around the SF area?
Thanks in advance,
CL
btw, by "no hassles" spot, i just mean place that won't put up a fuss about testing if you have a couple of harmless gauges, turbo timer, etc. everything else i have enginewise is stock. i do have a catted turboback that wil pass the sniffer, but i guess i'll swap it back to stock if i really have to.

yeah, i forgot to mention that we should kinda be discreet about naming real 'liberal' shops.......don't wanna get anyone fined or their smog license pulled.
also, for those not aware, enthusiasts aren't the only ones that browse car forums.
but i really appreciate the replies and recs so far tho. i'm sure others do too.

Do you guys know if I would need to use accessport to change from stage 2 back to stock?
I will be putting back the stock downpipe, but don't really want to mess with the ecu, since I don't know how.

Don't run stage 2 with a stock downpipe.
It takes a minute to flash back to stock.
