ITs REALLY amazing what a SEAT will do for you car...

I feel like I have a brand new car...

I installed some more aggressive seats in my STi yesterday and was AMAZED at how much of a difference it made. The car feels like a different care completely... Body roll feels minimized GREATLY, not just a little, but like coilovers vs stock, not joking or exaggerating at all.

I'm simply blown away at what a difference these seats made. The stock STi seats are ok, but sit very high and dont support you AT ALL. I put in JDM STi seats which sit about an inch and half lower, and hug you soooooooo much more which means you stay in place. It's really amazing how different the car feels now.

I recommend this to ALL auto-x people, all track people, and ALL people who like to drive around in a more racier stance.

Others who have changed theirs seats like I have, please comment here and back me up.

Where did you get them from? How much were they? And were they a pain to install, or did they mount with stock hardware?

They are JDM V6 seats, had the for a while, and they bolted right into stock holes... 4 bolts per seat, the PITA is the air bag cables, once you remove them (you need pliers) takes 10 min per seat.

I will never own a car without a Sparco Corsa or better

the rails extend to your knees which is nice for obvious reasons, but is also an awesome place to rest your arm while channel surfing down I-5.

Next to tires, one of the best mods you can make, yet i hardly see anyone with a racing seat

If my seats weren't heated I'd replace them.

I like the heated option. Just not the seat.
Say I were to change the seat what all would be included?

Daniel I'm going to have to agree with you. I had various sets of JDM gc seats (of course the only difference is the style of fabric pattern) and omg they feel soooo much better over the stock US seats. They snug sooo much better and makes you feel more involved with the car I guess you could say. I hate the US version seats (even sti) because they're made for fat americans (it's true, get over it lol) and so they naturally have to be a bit wider. JDM GC seats are my favorite so far

like abs as in muscles lol...before the seat, trying to hold your body up through hundreds of turns is quite a workout.
