HOUSE > rex. i would hold off on a car until you get a house. Last thing you want is for your car to get in the way of getting a house.

Good luck getting everything resolved.

like others have said get the house first. here is another reason, if you are going to finance the car... take the check the insurance co. just gave you, put it toward the downpayment then use that either as a second or line of credit or whatever type of loan you can get from the house. that way it is tax deductable. interest on a car loan is not.

wise words. another reason to own a house is you're tax returns will be very large. that's mod money there.

or any car, well except for a few but if you can afford those then who cares about depreciation.

Soren, Sorry to hear a bout the accident. I am glad you are ok. You have been very helpful to me on i-club and i appreciate it. Any pics of the wreck for posterity sake? I know it's bad stuff but i would like to see your wrx one last time. Post before and after pics if you have em'. It's good for new people to see what can happen even in a controlled environment let alone what can happen with street racing. Thanks agin for all of your help and i hope you can get a new subie soon. Drop in every now and then to say hi.
