I was at Honor Gruard (Air Force) practice. as it was ending, one of our sergeants came in and told us the radio news just mentioned a plane hit the WTC. we were all "plane?, what a dumb ***. we had images of a small plane with it's tail sticking out of a window. Got home to change uniforms and saw what really happened live just as the second jet hit.

my base went full threat con, and my shop went 24/7 for 3 yeares after that.

the one thing i remember most, weather wise, it was a beautiful day.

Tragic...indeed

Driving into SF that morning, over the Bay Bridge, and there were still planes flying overhead.....TERRIFYING.

Having to take care of a 50 SED kids and try to keep cool heads....nearly impossible.

Loss of life...unforgettable.

I woke up to the radio as usual, heard the Doghouse talking about what was going on, turned on the TV and not 5 minutes later I saw the plane hit the second tower. I said "oh no, we are at war".

But I'm "over it" now.

Im just glad after 8 years of fighting, over 1 trillion dollars in current and long term cost, and most importantly over 4000 American soldiers killed, we at least finally taught Iraq a lesson, they'll never pull another terrorist attack like that on us again!

Seriously, its 2010, when do we as a country finally start talking about the biggest, most costly mistake in United States history without it being considered un-american?? What do you say to the thousands of American families who lost loved ones? Nobody was even ****ing fired for this!!

And Bin Laden is still free, not much of a surprise right? When you realize the ONLY flight that was authorized to fly on Sept 12 2001 was Bush's rich oil buddies the Bin Laden family fleeing the U.S.!!

What makes me more sick than the fact that no one wants to talk about this or even care, but that they actually get offended when you bring it up, watch, someone on this thread will probably flame me for this.

Makes me ****ing sick.

I'd get all conspiracy on you, but seriously why are there "simulation tests" of planes flying buildings, yet this happens the day they are test running? Then when a bomb blows up a building... there are "pretend" test runs of someone doing that exact thing. Just sounds too phony, and hearing pilots state "Is this for real?" yea... ok. Confuse our military.
