Hi All,

I just upgraded my iphone and it bricked becasue 1,000,000 other people are trying to upgrade firmware to 2.0. I went to the apple store and passed like 400 people in line for the new hardware iphone that came out today. The apple techs said, ya you are just gunna have to wait, everyone is upgrading at this moment. SO if you want the new 2.0 software update for old iphone users, wait till like sunday, cause there server is overloaded with new iphone activations and 2.0 firmware upgrades.

did you save the phone numbers to the phone or the SIM? If the SIM, can't you just pop it out and put it in another phone until you get your iPhone working? Best of luck and congrats!

yeah, Theres a line right by my work at the At&T store. People been waitign since yesterday. lol crazy.


If anyone wants to insure their iphone and laptop for abotu 35 bucks a year. Pm me. Apple does not sell insurance for the I phone just to let people know.

Waited in line for 4 hours. I got the 16gb in white. Get home to activate it and i cant. Worst part is that my old iphone sim was shot down by ATT so i have to iPhones here that make a great paperweight for the timebeing. No contact to the outside beside the internet!

 

You would think that the second time around, Apple and ATT would have figured out the whole activation process thing. Apparently not.

 

i thought all new 3g phones were supposed to be activated AT THE store...
