I downloaded the NES emulator. You have to also download OpenSSH onto the phone and then an FTP program on your computer and transfer the ROMs to a certain folder

Thats been out for a minute but I've yet to try it. I have seen the "beta" firmware which is coming out soon (with the SDK) and its pretty fat. They have some nice games on there, though I think its more for teaching people how to code with the SDK. However, with that said I can see where games on the iPhone are going to be pretty sick.

As far as emulators are concerned, I heard the NES is hard to play since the controls are a bit tricky. They look cool though..

I don't like the controls.

I saw a thread on modmyifone months ago where a guy took apart an NES controller and was adapting it to work on the usb/dock connection. He had it working but never updated the thread.

maybe one day somebody will get the bluetooth Wii controller to work on the iphone, since it already works on PC

use winSCP to transfer them to your phone http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbnId...d.php?t=119701
or iphonebrowser http://www.modmyifone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46211

There's 2 versions of the NES controls. Try the non-standard one. I like it better, but they both suck for any game that needs quick direction changes. The novelty wears off fast. It was good for long flights though.

for tetris and Mario it really isn't that bad, sometimes I dont realize I'm not hitting the wrong button until its too late, but oh well, more reason to keep playing it
