Inverted vs Non Inverted Struts on Coilovers?

I just recently ordered some BC coliovers with non inverted struts for my 06 wrx - less than 12 hours after I ordered and got my stuff shipped, they posted up an inverted strut version of the coilovers. They are about 150 more and require 30 days due to special ordering, but my question is whether or not it would be worth it. I know that the sti suspension does come with inverted struts stock, so they can't be that bad.

I was reading a review on some whitelines at http://www.subiegal.com/productrevie...p_4_review.htm and at the bottom, there seems to be a good amount of information that points away from the idea of getting inverted strut coilovers. I have the option of returning the coilovers I just ordered and getting the inverted strut version.....I really want to because from what I have heard they are better, but I am reading conflicting information. Does anyone have some real experience or at least some opinions on this matter? I would really appreciate it, I really don't want to get stuck with the wrong coilovers, being that this is a really important piece of my suspension. Thanks.

IMHO, there's such a little difference in both, that the only benefit for a daily driver/occasional track car is that you can adjust the strut w/o taking out your seats.

That bit of info I didn't know o_O. I planned on rolling with no back seats for a week or two anyway :P. I really would like to know some differences / experiences if anyone has them though...still considering it. Surely someone has something.

iirc BC was making some sort of device that hooked up to the top of their struts so that you could adjust the damper settings without taking off the seats...it was either Megan or BC...can't remember.

either way, unless you're gonna be changing damper settings frequently, i think you're fine with the non-inverted coilovers. enjoy em .

I know that tein has something like that, but that would be cool is BC developed something similar. Yea, I probably wouldn't need it but it would be cool to have :P.

--edit--

Actually I probably would use it

I spoke to BC about it and the guy I talked to was actually really nice and honest and said that for my setup I really wouldn't benefit from inverted strut coilovers. He said that the main advantage to them are not having heat related issues that come up when people are on the track for a while.
