I usually take it as playing, I usually ignore it though. If I see another suby I will speed up or slow down to say whats up though.

I really hate when people drive like retards. Its hard to distinguish if they're just in a really big hurry or if they're just a-holes. When people come up quick behind me, I usually get over in time for them to pass me (I usually stay out of the fast lane unless I'm in a hurry). If people are just driving like complete jerks, like say they're cutting people off on purpose in traffic and cutting it very close, if I'll occasionally box them in for a little while...

That being said whenever I do haul ***, I am very safe about it, I don't weave in and out of traffic, and if I have to pass a vehicle I switch lanes way before I get to them. If I need to get over, I always use my turn signal, if people wont let me over and my exit is coming up, I'll edge to the side of the lane I want to go into to give them a clue until they slow down or speed up. I make sure that they have atleast 5 seconds of my turn signals on before I start doing that, and my turn signals are bright as hell so they have no excuse.

Everytime I get on the freeway, I swear it feels like Mad Max. Especially on the weekends when all the weekend drivers feel obligated to forget that they're operating motor vehicles, and freak out when you honk to let them know they're in your blind spot and you need to exit the road.

And don't get me started on peeps driving hybrids like they are the queen of ****ing shiva.

Furthermore, I don't think any more than 25% of drivers fully understand the concept of "keeping right unless to pass", or that they can kill someone with a moment of inattention.

Interpreting drivers' intentions? Personally, I treat all drivers as threats, scaled from annoyances to mortal dangers, interpreted through their actions. Zero accidents with me at the wheel over a ten year period (at ~20k a year) show for it.

Sorry for the rant but bad driving really irks me.

when other drivers drive differently around you, how do you take it? If they're obviously driving faster, more aggressively, or more recklessly around you (specifically you), do you take it as a playful thing? do you take it as them challenging/defying you? or do you take it as them mocking you? or do you take it as them respecting you? or any other ways...

it's hard to understand their intention when you can't talk to them or when it's hard to see their facial expression. it's hard to even know whether i should be flattered, annoyed, pissed, or confused.

any thoughts?

also, this is my first thread. i'm a noob, as you can tell by my post count. hello, baic!

yea when other drives do that around me, i always take it as a taunt. they are taunting me to act like them and race off on the freeway or w/e and be stupid. i just ignore them and drive on my way. not worth my time to waste my gas on stupid ricers

I'm guilty of cutting a few lanes over if needed and/or speeding up/slowing down for other scoobs.
yes i am guilty of that too sometimes lol. one time i saw this WRB wagon up ahead, he was driving faaaaaaaasstt. i tried to catch up to him when there was clear lanes, but his speed was just too dangerous for me to speed up and try to wave hi. i just said forget it lol. but yea i usually will move to their lane if i see another suby.

I always play if nobody else is around, i mean if its a purpose built car aka not riced out for looks.

If driver is ahead of me and crossing the yellow on blind corners i back off, then meet him at the summit junction and call him an inconsiderate retard.

I think the thing that blows my mind every time are the drivers that have no respect for the cone zone/CHP on either side and dont make a buffer lane for them. Totally disrespectful and stupid.

lol i highlight text too...maybe thats why i cant read a book on paper!
