Interior Questions

I just got an autometer triple gauge pod. The color of it is plastic black. I want to cover it in the same material that the wrx dash is made out of. I think this will make it look a billion times better. My questions are:

Where do I get this material or material like it (vinyl)?
Is there anyone that can cover it for me? I have no interior expierence.
Has anyone done this?

Thanks guys and gals

Hey Leon, my triple gauge pod from Defi came unpainted, but the flat black I got from Orchard was pretty close. It isn't the same feel of material, but it was close enough for me. As far as getting this material sprayed over your gauge, I'm not sure how likely that will be. I have tried looking around and I didn't really find a place that could do it - it also costs quite a bit more than I was willing to spend on painting ($8 for a spray can vs $50 for materials and possibly labor?)

Anyhow, good luck on this.

I have a can of vinyl spray, you can try that on other materials to test if you want to. I don't know how successful it will be.

I'm going to put this in the interior section. So a mod can delete this one if he/she choses to do so.

Thanks

Will they be able to cover it to match?

I have been meaning to make a trip over there. I haven't been there yet.
