Similar thing happened to me. I couldn't get a bolt off from my Z's rear swaybar during front&rear swaybar install. I ended up breaking it's endlink in half. So, that turned into F&R swaybar + endlink(stronger) install. I can't believe nissan use some low quality endlinks. May be even worse than suby's rubber endlinks. Anyway, it's frustrating when a simple install turns into a mess.

Hurry up and get back LIC.
we are back

I had something similar happen to me, only the bolt sheered off while I was driving instead of when I was working on it... Happened to the stock bar with stock mounds, and it happened twice after with aftermarket parts (bar, links, bushings, etc). Mt Hamilton EATS swaybar mounts and hardware holding the mounts and bar into place! This was all on my old RS, and every time it happened on Mt Hamilton after REALLLY aggressive driving.

F' that bolt! I never had an issue with my WRX or WRX STi, only my RS.

As always! Adam and Noah friggin ROCK! They always go above and beyond what is expected of them and it's the reason that they have a reputation of SUPER QUALITY work (yeah, I just made that title up). There are quality shops out there, but LIC really provides SUPER QUALITY work for their customers. Not only do they do great work, but they will teach you and answer any questions that you have about anything specific.

We have some really great shops in the Bay Area... We're REALLY lucky to have such great vendors so close to us (no matter where you are in the bay area, there is a reputable subaru specialist shop near you). Too bad I don't live closer to LIC, otherwise I'd stop by all the time and bother them (like I do to the guys at GST currently, lol)

How do you like em huck?

I had sways on my old sti, but I did them at the same time combined with springs, dummy. Currently I only have a rear, was just inquiring in hopes of finding someone smart's opinion on how it made the car react differently. Was trying to decide if I should bother getting a front or not.

In response to Brucelee, the best thing about LIC is you can take your car there to get a downpipe installed or something, and if there is anything at all wrong with the car even the tiniest thing, Adam will see it, and there is no diagnostic fee of course. One time my car wouldn't start for 4 days after being washed, then started once into limp mode, was all tweaked. Lic called me in like 15 minutes and said, water in the ever so slightly cracked cam pos sensor (thanks to vivid racing).
