for real though, i dont want this to turn into yet another pro weed anti-weed conversation, but i had a friend that was 10000000000% against weed. i mean this dude wouldnt even hang out with all of us when we were smokin or whatever. he was also one of those uys that thought you couldnt get high yoru first time...

i mean he thought it made you halucinate, and do dumb **** like jump off of buildings and everythign.

he was major insomniac as well.

finally one day he was so super desperate for sleep, and he never saw any of us die from smoking, he finally asked if he could try just one hit. well after like 4 hits, he ate like 7 packages of ramen he slept for a solid 16 hours.

he still isnt a huge fan but he knows when he is desperate for a couple zzz's he knows what to do.
and know he also knows weed doesnt make you crazy or do all the stuff the folklore says...

if you need some sleep man thats your all natural answer, not sleeping pills man, lots of people get addicted to those

 

Aside from sleep aids, if I'm wanting good sleep, take 2 flexiril ( muscle relaxants) and go to bed like 10-11 hours before you need to be awake cuz it'll make u pass out and make waking up difficult. I do notice that if i take it, i'll wake up and acknowledge things like talking on the phone, but I thought I was dreaming and don't realize it.

 

Yeah, I've thought about medical mary jane but I'm worried about potential jobs where they might drug test me and I don't want that stuff in my blood... Medical mary jane is cool and all and if employers didn't care (I'm studying for law enforcement), I'd jump on it, but it's a catch 22, it's legal but employers still wont hire you if you test positive (Ive talked to old bosses and they said they probably wouldn't hire someone who tested positive even if that person got it through legal means! How effed up is that? You can take oxycontin, vicodin, and a slew of other hard drugs that are legal and get hired, but not for mary jane? Bunch of BS if you ask me!)

Another thing about sleep aids is that I wont remember anything from the time it starts working till when it's done working... My wife will be like "remember I asked you to blah blah blah?" and I wont have any memory of it

 

I take ambien. Got it from the VA for alot of PTSD like symptoms. My problem is when im having bad dreams I get all agro the next day/week. The ambien will put me into a state of dreamless sleep which is what I need. BTW I know you are Croatian. My Patrol base while I was in Bosnia was Birjko so right there on the border. I was there 6 yrs after the fact but man there was alot of bad crap that happened there. Anyway try ambien, if you have tried it before have them up the dose it works for me.

The flexoril works really good too. Got me to sleep through my last kidney stone, but its some heavy crap.

 

It works for me about 80% of the time. Sometimes it revs me up instead - which is strange. It's the most fun way of trying to go to sleep, however.

 

Man, don't even get me started on the crap that happened there... It was the f'ing holocaust all over again!!

 

That flexoril crap is serious ****. I got some last time I was REALLY sick to help knock me out. I crashed quick and could not do anything for a solid 10 hours. Made me feel like crap the next day, though.

Your employer is required to provide you with an answer to why you didn't receive the job as it could be grounds for discrimination, at which you would be able to argue for the use of marijuana as a medical instrument.

A career in law enforcement might be your biggest deterrent for going this route, however I believe that you work to live, and not live to work so if another human being cannot understand your inability to sleep and unwillingness to dump a chemistry set into your system, I'd think twice about working for them.
