Factory ammo. What happened was, the ammo got cycled up the feed ramp one too many times. Causing the OAL to get shorter and shorter. Then when it finally fired, kaboom! So if you chamber a round more than a few times, check the overall length to make sure the bullet doesn't get setback too much.

Someone set up a range meet. I'll bring the toys.

Damn Lurk, your toys are better than mine. Someone set up a meet at chabot, I'm too lazy.

Daybreak, though it isn't on your list, you're more than welcome to meet me at the Livermore range if you want to try a 1911. It might give you some insight as to what grip angle you may prefer. I'm going to be out of town this weekend, but will probably make a tip to Livermore that following weekend (the 21st?).

It was very obvious to me as soon as I handled both, but I'm a baby like that. I had to point out the difference in angle to a buddy, so it must not bother everyone. Most (probably all) gun shops will have an example of both on hand so you can try them out one right after the other.

It's a Fabarms. Same thing as Benelli tho. But now I believe Fabarms is owned by SIG and not Benelli anymore.

I'll bring an M240G and some AT4s for good measure. But seriously, the Glock 29 is in my opinion the best buy for an experienced shooter that doesn't mind a little kick. One shot, one kill.
