Inova LED Flashlight
Inova LED Flashlight
Does anyone here curently own an Inova LED flashlight? THey're pricey, but I'm guessing they're that good. I'm thinking of getting the T2 for the size and power it offers, not crazy about the Lithium CR123A batteries though. THe other company I looked at was AITECH Luxeon which uses standard AA batteries. Want to hear your opinion if its worth the money.
Thx!

I have the Inova Microlight. After several years, I'm still on the first battery (lithium) that came with it. And it's still as bright as it was the first time I bought it.
I dunno anything about the other products though but the microlight I have works like a champ.

Even with daily usage, the batteries last & last.

I have the Innova X5. It is pretty good. 5 LEDs and pretty good range. Unfortunately I got a blue one which was on sale... but not nearly as bright as the white one. Looks cool though.
Is the T2 bigger/brighter?

You're welcome to take my lunch money, but I regret to inform that the lunch money was spent on the Inova T2 which I'm awaiting it's arrival. Perhaps us LED flashlight owners will blind you with our beams and take your lunch money. BTW, that small flashligh cost me about a weeks worth of lunch money and I hope it's worth it. Lithium batteries only seen to have one thing in common, they're hella expensive! Honestly, a 10dollar minimag would have done fine. It's the new toy/hightech factor I was facinated by.

The T2 was around 50 bucks with shipping, sure I could have ebay'd it and saved a couple bucks, but I used a coupon for the site I purchased from. I just found out that my homes wireless alarm system uses the same lithum batteries and I happen to have a boat load of them. Not such a bad purchase afterall, at least for this cheap bastard (me).
I also found out they have these LED bulb replacement for those of you with the 4 and 6 cell Maglights. The range and lumen numbers are not bad and there's no filament to break like I have with those blasted Krypton bulbs.

I have the Inova X04, the Inova X03, and a few Inova MicroLites. The last company that I worked for was a master distributor for Inova, so I got all of these free as samples. Had I payed for them though, I would still think they are worth every penny. The X03 is a 3 watt Luxion LED. It's nice and bright with a crisp blueish light. This model uses 2 CR123 batteries and is nice and compact. The X04 is just plain amazing. It is a 4 watt luxion LED and utilizes a rechargable lithium-ion battery. Unfortunetly it is pretty pricey and a little larger and more heavy than the X03. Its light output is super crisp and is almost perfectly white. All Inovas have a GREAT build quality (aircraft quality aluminum). I'd put their build quality on par with SureFire but for about half the price. Go to www.Strobe-Direct.com for some good pricing. I no longer work for that company, but the owner, Frank, is a stand-up guy and our prices were always the best. Also, Frank will price match anything you find on the web. Tell him Chris sent you. Also, Frank sells the CR123s on his website at really good prices.
