Inital D Live Action Movie is out
i just finished...definitely one of the worst movies i've seen in awhile.
i've learned to not expect much from HK flicks, but this one disappointed me despite the low expectations going in. legend of speed was much better....

I personally think that Takumi looks like a white guy, so no asian actor coud possibly look the part, good or bad, its not a tw/hk thing as much as its just bad casting. my 2 cents

I just watched it. It wasn't as bad as everyone says. It's very condensed, for obvious reasons. Of course, the version I watched had the worst translation work I've ever seen, gives new meaning to "engrwish". Pretty faithful to anime. Race scenes were pretty good. Better than "fast and furious".

I am in the middle of downloading what they say is a "DVD Screener" of the movie so might be a lot better quality than the camcorder version. Don't know about subtitles.
