I deleted the movie after watching the first 5 min.
I thought it was horrible, the only similarity I can see between the movie and the manga are the cars, and character name. It's not worth the d/l imho

Well the Japanese tried to make the movie twice but they couldn't do it because of funding. That was why the writer of the comic book finally let non-Japanese did the movie.
And also when was the last decent Japanese action/special effect movie you watched? I'm sure Init D would be crap or at least crappier than this HK one had the Japanese tried to make it.
