Infineon 2/4 & 2/5???
Anybody signed up for this event? I signed up for Saturday only. This is through NASA, just like the Laguna event a couple of weeks ago.

As far as the $10 entry fee, that's Infineon charging cuz Nasa charges so little for the track day, usually $150. Most private clubs charge $200+ for a track day, so the gate fee is covered.

I heard that unlimited laps is cheaper for more track time.

I agree along with resident smurf, just isn't worth the $
you only get about an hour maybe sometimes more for 150 bucks, and you have to wait like 3+ hours between sessions

i'd much rather spend 200-250 for two hours of track time with a catered lunch and 40 to 60 min breaks inbetween sessions

I'll be there both days doing the safety thing again..
As far as the anti-NASA comments, if you really hate NASA then please don't attend! Otherwise - cool - tell us this magical new organisation that provides loads of track time and a free catered lunch at a bargain price. My last paid NASA track day was at Thunderhill and I had 5 ~20min sessions in Group 3 with at times, not enough time to check and set tire pressures between sessions. This was last year (forgot the day) for one day, and it was $150. We had a bbq with tons of food and drinks afterwards as usual for Thill and Sears on Saturdays with NASA. Laguna days are expensive because it's Laguna. You pay $10 (a head) to get into Sears because it's Sears. Next.
Don't get me wrong, I would never try to talk anyone into doing a track day or out of something they like better, but I always hated wrong and bad information.

GG Lotus, 3-6 hours at Laguna Seca on Feb. 20th for $195
TEAM Racing, 4-5 hours of track time @ T-hill Incl. lunch and gatorade/coffee for $190/day
Compare to NASA for $150/day + $40 tech at-track. Other organizations don't even require tech (not necessarily a good thing), and others self-tech.
Not a terrible ripoff (BMWCCA $595/2days for 4x30min/day or DCI at $595/day
), but still not that great of a value.

Hmm that's a good idea but that would require a drive the day before, and since I trailer my car it is that much more difficult.

regarding the cost of NASA, there are loads of Free tech stations all over the bay area, I go silverstar auto's in the city, but there are plenty, and they are free. Also the $150 you pay gets an instructor if you need one, I always get one for a new track so I can speed up the learning process and (nearly) all of the instructors can really drive.
What I most like about NASA is the emphasis on bringing your car home in one piece and learning at your own pace...after every session is a download meeting where any off-track excursions are discussed, reasons for them etc..and idiots are identified and shamed if need be. The group system with limited overtaking in groups 1 and 2 is also really good for beginners...

I'll be there. I crew for a Honda Challenge Team Cars #68, and #69 lol 
Anyways I have not used NASA, but have gone through Nor-Cal Racing, and Lotus Club. HPDE seems too short, and too much $$$. Anyways all things aside, I'd like to see some of you guys out there. PM me for details on the "secret word" entry program, lol!!! Hope you know this Resident Smurf
