does anyone know if the shifter trim (piece including the cig lighter and coin holder) on the 05-07 impreza is interchangeable with the forrester shifter trim (auto-auto / manual-manual)? they look exactly the same. if theres anyone in the area who can confirm this it would be much appreciated.

apparently not much interest in the topic, but for future reference they are indeed the same, or so I'm told; I'll find out for sure soon. This is good news for anyone doing an 05-07 impreza console conversion and finds that the impreza shifter trim sells for 3x what the forrester shifter trim sells for on ebay.

 

got the trim today, its confirmed, forrester shifter trim is the exact same as impreza 05-07.
