u gotta dremel a few "notches" to get the trim to fall into place...and i also drilled into the shift boot so the bolts that came with the trim would fit...

in the pic u can see the six spot to drill so the bolts can go through the shift boot...

I used a razor blade to trim the interior edges of the console and a soldering iron to make the notches wher the bolt sleaves. It worked quite well and was not much of a hassel. -if you don't mind the smell of melted plastic. You should probly use a cheap iron too.
