Yea when i first heard about the sti with the 2.5L engine, I was thinking this would be a sweet time to get the 2.0L with the STI tranny.

However, I'll still want the crazy power of 2.5L. I might even get just the 2.0L with the 5 speed WRX box, just for higher top speed.

That'll probable save me a bunch too.

Well good luck with your STI plans dudes. And post 'em when you get 'em.

I'll be looking for a donor motor in that amount of time.

what is the most common swaps around here? which one is the most cost effient? i search around but i dont get very many prices.
so i was just curious. how much would a motor swap cost for a gc8 RS. either WRX or STI (one of the lower years?)
