I get the feeling that if I waved first to a WRX or STi that I'd probably just get a look like LOL! This guy flew up on me and my brother in my STI on Saturday in Napa, swerved around me, then cut me off and slammed on his brakes, then hauled A for the next 6 miles up hwy 29 with his wife and 3 or 4 year old kid in the back seat. I was doing 70 and he passed me and cut me off like I was standing still! I don't understand how that seemed like a good idea.

 

WTF? In a Tercel??? With a toddler? Simply stunning...

 

I couldn't believe, the guy was a total jerk. He also almost hit about six cars when he was swerving in and out of traffic

 

Got to watch out for that stuff, can be an insurance scammer. Had it happen to me when I was in a rental car. Dude flys around me and slams on his brakes. Even in the rental car, I out braked him and didn't hit him but I DID get his plate number. He jumped off the freeway at the next exit. I called 911 and reported the license. Cops called me a few days later after they tracked him down and he denied the whole thing. Doesn't sound like that's what the Tercel dude was doing, because he probably would have gotten off somewhere. They WANT you to rear end them because it is harder to fight.

There was an insurance scammer that hit a member here. That member captured the whole thing on a dash cam. The scammer's insurance company contacted him for the video so they could sue their own (former) insured LOL.
