Im prepared for the flaming, but i need opinions!
i came across the crawford performance "gymkhana" exhaust system for the newer wrx/sti's. the exhaust is probably not new, but it is too me. soooo here comes my idea. i want this for my 2002 wrx i know i will have to have a custom 'axle back' part made to match up to the piece and i will need another exhaust hanger mounted.
what i am asking is i havent looked under my rear in awhile and i dont remember how much space is under the passenger rear does anybody think this can be done?
also i know i will have to modify my rear bumper..any tips will help
and my reasoning!
1. i like the simple styling it has as well as the sound it puts out!
2. I want to try something different than a single tip !
3. Weight..it doesnt really matter to me but i bet its lighter than my current Turbo XS axle back
This is just an IDEA! i would like to do it, but if i cant then whatever. I just dont see what would hold me back lol
here it is for those who havent seen it. http://store.crawfordperformance.com/store/products/439

I actually like it, as I've heard it on a few cars. It actually sounds really good. Reminiscent of the race pipes the black/orange Crawford hatch runs, but much quieter than that. And by all means, this does not mean I support Crawford, just that I like their exhaust

I dunno man, isn't LIC running a Crawford motor in their time attack car?

that LIC TA car is "sponsored" by Crawford. if i remember my subaru shop history correctly, LIC has a long-standing biz relationship with Crawford. i also remember Quirt writing somewhere that Adam is one of the few people he trusts to build motors? something to that effect.

we run off the shelf Crawford pistons and rods in our TA car, as well as there turbo kit. Its not a "Crawford Motor" but a LIC Motor using their product, as they are not responsible for the balance of it (which of course is what makes any motor what it is).

its meaningless blurbs like this under the "specs" that kill me.
and this one...
NO LOSS OF POWAAH FTW! wait wha?
ultimately seems way too much money (including modding your rear end for dual tips) for just an axle-back. jmo.
- The Crawford Performance logo is laser etched onto each tip to ensure a quality piece unmatched anywhere else.
- This exhaust has been dyno tested on our in house dyno versus a completely exhaust free system to ensure there was absolutely no loss in power.
