I'm looking for a truck any idea's?
I'm looking for a truck that can tow a Subaru on a trailor, the only prerequisites I have are that it's 4wd and needs to be cheap.
Anyone got any good suggestions? perhaps someone has something that fits the bill for sale?

My cousin's got a 1991 Ford F350 4x4 with a 460 and a 5-speed. Only 55k miles on it. I think he was selling it for $9,500. He's located in San Francisco. Let me know if you're interested.

Early 90's chevy pickup with a 454 will fit the bill. Well I suppose any truck with a 454 would
Mid 90's dodge with the cummins diesel, those go for a bit more though.

Never EVER, EVER EVER buy a ford.
I agree with the 90's chev pickup... 454 = overkill though.. lol! The subie isn't that heavy. A diesel would probably be your best bet... just stay away from Ford.
Early 90 dodge trucks had tranny probs too... keep that in mind.

Actually older Ford diesel trucks are great.
The motors are made by international and they are proven to be great motors, they have been using they for MANY years, they just recently stopped using them in 2003.
its not a typical ****ty ford motor

Yeah, but you still get the rest of the car which is made by ford. In other words, a death trap and a piece of crap.

lol I think every domestic truck maker has had tranny problems since the early 90's! Some more than others, so yea stay away from ford at all costs. They are the ones that are still having tranny troubles with their modern F350 diesels!
