I don't understand **** @#$% either. It pisses me off, and I'm sure everyone else would say the same. Lately, soooooo many people I know have had their cars broken into. One of my friends parks his rex RIGHT outside his bedroom window. He comes out one morning and the car is sitting sideways on its axles with the spare tire propped up under one corner of the car. His doors were pryed open with a screwdriver or crowbar and misc. stuff was stolen. His alarm never even went off. How do you stop that? It's ridiculous. Wierd thing is, it's mostly younger kids, teens, etc.

I'm sorry about what happened. I wish there was an easy solution. About the only thing I can think of is to use a car as bait (a flashy car) and catch the punks when they come to steal stuff off of the car so at least you can get a chance to f$Wk them up a bit before they run off, or maybe catch a few and have them thrown in jail for attempting to steal your property. Other than this, I have no ideas. As long as people are getting away from it, it will only get worse.

Edit: The others are right about carmichael, it might not be the worst town directly, but it's sitting right in between other ghetto areas which is more than enough.

The only theft in my area in roseville is when idiots leave their garage door open, or their car doors unlocked and people just reach in and steal stupid stuff... That and peoples houses getting TPed or egged.

 

I'm glad this thread was bumped even if it was done OT.

Anyway, My mother's ex-fiance, a family friend whom I haven't seen in years, fell victim 3 days ago in Rio Linda.

Granted Rio Linda is the equivalent to Watts in KY (white trashy for you BA people) what happened was planned fairly well.

This guy is a pretty clean, stand-up guy so im pretty sure he didn't have this coming. Anyways, he JUST bought a brand new GMC truck and has a baby on the way with his new fiancee. He comes home one night after work and takes a shower. Meanwhile his expecting fiancee opens the door to 2 younger age women who are "selling" subscriptions (the diversion). Meanwhile two russain men broke through the back window, dragged him out of the shower and beat the crap out of him (3 broken ribs and jaw). Then they filled a few duffle bags with valuables, held the two at gun point and demanded for the truck keys.

They still haven't been caught so keep a look out through the peep hole.

I hate being PC... all i know is that these guys were russian because he heard them say a few russian swear words. I know what i see in this area so if you're russian don't take offense because i want to protect you as well.
