alright, I messed up pretty bad. My friend took off to santa cruz to go camping for the weekend and I left my keys in his car. Well I didnt think I had a spare key, but I managed to find one this morning. The only problem is there is no remote to go along with it.

Don't I need to the remote to disable the alarm when it goes off? What can I do? Please help, I need to get out of this house!!!

when the alarm goes off, put the key in the ignition and cycle it between "on" and "off" 3 times. Thats what it says in my alarm handbook.

also, are you sure you have an alarm and not just keyless remote?

 

yea I'm pretty sure.. cuz when I open the door without the remote and its armed it starts honking like crazy.. im gonna try what you said and ill get back to you right after, thanks for your help.

I had a shop remove my Karr alarm and it still beeps / honks continuously when I dont use the remote. The car has its own self arm alarm but the Karr alarm itself is just a kill switch. Waste of money in my opinion.
