JJ will be cut, not traded, but that's cool because his salary will be almost enought to sign Okeafor and Streets both, and the bump in the cap will be big enough to handle the draft picks. Might even be a little left over for a Parrish-type free agent.
The team doesn't really have any true needs at this point, other than special teams. Getting the D healthy again will be HUGE. Winbornlooks like the player they hoped Lee Woodall would be, and between Parrish, Bronson, Keith, Plummer, Webster, Rumph, and Jimmy Williams, we will have a backfield good enogh to win games.
I ould really like to see the draft produce a DT who can rush the passer. BY, we love ya, but where's the production man? DE is set. Maybe Ulbrich can be traded to fill another hole, since he won't be a starter. Better to keep him though, him and Smith are the only Mikes on the team really. Offensively, let's just do what it takes to keep Kyle Kosier off the field. Heitman and Willig are about as good as it gets off the bench with the return of Fiore next season, and it's doubtfull we can get a LT to replace Deese with the 26th pick. HB is still a year away from needing help, and no reason drafting a TE unless he's really the downfield-type.
I'd like to see:
round 1: pass rushing DT
round 2: trade down, take WR or CB
round 3: OT or CB, even if #2 was a CB
round 4 plus: any player who looked good on special teams!
