Me, brucelee, Paulie to name just a few.

You know it's bad when you step up from a 30"x60" gun safe to a 6'x6' vault.

Why so many similar weapons? Just curious. And no one likes ACOGs?

Stockpiling for the coming Zombie apocalypse.

I don't have nearly the number of similar weapons as that picture. That guy has a serious case of BRD (black rifle disease). But hey, some people collect porcelain figurines, some of us collect weapons.

I'm partial to collecting WWII era weapons, although I keep a contingent of modern weapons as well. There's somethign to be said for walnut and the rich history of the Garand and Carbine.

in kalifornia, silencers are legal, just not readily available. since they are listed as class 3 goodies and getting that stamp is next to impossible, hence the scarcity. damn politicians.

as for their "loudness," i have seen test footage where in a 5.56 in an AR platform, allows you to shoot without any hearing protection, SAFELY.

I don't know how you guys afford all this. I'd love to have a few on hand but I just can't stomach dropping $1200-3500 on a gun.

I bought an AR15 every month I was in the Army....CAR-15s for $400.
You know the M16 racks in the arms room?
I had one for all of my babies.

The day I drove home from Ft Lewis, WA, a CHP pulled me over near Weed.
Asked if I had any weapons in the car.
Should have seen the look on his face when I opened the hatch on my VW Rabbit.

it's quality vs quantity.

i heard this line once, "beware of the man who has one gun, for he knows how to use it..."

for me, having multiple main battle rifles are the primary defense point.

after that, long range tactical rifles are needed to possibly suppress an advancing party before they get close.

after that, several hanguns for that close up and personal and last ditch effort.

a shotgun falls in between a handgun and MBR.

and of course, lots and lots of ammo.

This is a concept I don't understand, you can only shoot one weapon at a time. Imagine how sick you could make an AK or AR for that much money.

Can you say SR-25 with CQB barrel and x4 Eotech and PEQ. That's where it's at.
