And we could form a BAIC militia to defend ourselves, our families, as well as our country from an invading army that posed a GREAT threat to our well being, and the bay area was hit HARD. We all band together and arm ourselves with any realistic weaponry that we wanted, the weapons have to be realistic, so no cruise missiles or apache helicopters... We have to use cars/trucks, whatever and go anywhere we wanted. What would you choose to defend yourself and your militia?

Besides the obvious like optics and body armor, you need firepower, what would it be?

My choice for our militia would go something like this:


All we need is a bunch of these:



A LOT of these: (.50 BMG and .338 Lapua)



Lots of SMG's to go with the sniper rifles for short range killing
(Silenced and armor piercing with very high capacity for multiple targets)


And to top it all off, everyone gets a Glock 18, a select fire machine pistol with LOTS of ammo and 33rnd magazines

+ silenced




That's a lot to carry, but it's possible and every weapon is drastically different from one another, each has its very own purpose.


To top it all off, we each get a few frag grenades for emergencies and clearing rooms.



As well as any optics anyone chooses.


Our logo would be: "PEACE THROUGH SUPERIOR FIREPOWER!"

Oh, and I didn't choose any shotguns because they are heavy, bulky, and for VERY close range and have low capacity... With the P90 and the Glock 18 you really wouldn't need a shotgun at all.

Man, we would destroy whoever was invading!

 

i'm down for the BAIC militia. but i've never shot an smg. i feel like i'd be scared of putting that in my hands with concern being for the safety of other BAIC militia. just give me a glock, the grenades... and a zamboni...

i want to drive the zamboni.

This reminds me of an interview with some guy before Y2K, where the interviewer asked if he would be stockpiling food and water in case things went crazy. He replied that no, he was going to be stockpiling guns and ammunition to take food and water from the people who didn't understand what "breakdown of civilization" actually means.
