dale davis...good rebound...good d. sounds like something the warriors could use off the bench. I'd rather see dale davis and a second round pick...but that's just me.
This trade is pissing me off! Being from Portland and a big Blazer fan, what heck are they thinking? Portland has to be the stupidest team around. Ahhh!! Dale Davis is a solid player…Portland’s lost…Warriors gain.

Dale Davis is a hard nosed defender much like ol' Cliffy. Now Dan Dickau....man, he was already a bench warmer in Atlanta. Ah well. There was no one else backing up Speedy and Mr. 0.4.

Davis is a good player. He should benefit the Warriors, but then again we don't know yet. They once said that about Van Exel too though...
Apparently Van Exel didn't get along with the Warriors much. He was injured a lot of the time too. I think the Warriors and he knew that they had to go separate ways.

After all that's happened to the Warriors this offseason....I couldn't believe they actually won out in this trade. I mean crap. I thought it would get worse after the Dampier rumors of going to NY for crap.
Thank god I am a San Antonio fan.

they say everything they are doing this offseason is to make salary cap room for next season while remaining cometative. so bascially, they BETTER sign a BIG free agent next offseason!
^^^^ that's what I don't understand about the fisher signing. van exel was in his last year, cliff is too. now we have fisher on the books for all this money for a backup PG.
and isn't Jrich and Murphy up for new contracts, they should be b/c of the 3 yr rookie contracts. personally I think the 3 yr rookie lottery contract is stupid, they should make it a minimum of 3 yrs and a maximum of 6. why not give a team a chance to invest in a player for the long run. team develop a player for 3 yrs then they can bolt for big $.

i dont know what they were thinking when they signed fisher to that contract, he is not worth that much money, they should've found a way to keep cardinal. I just hope they will get something good for damp. The Van Exel trade is decent though.

isn't the last...most expensive year of his contract an option year?
But yeah...he really isn't worth that much, but having a very experienced veteran that knows winning on a team with a bunch of kids that don't could be very important. I think he will help bring some stability in the 4th quarter for this team that would win a lot more games if they could learn how to close them off.
But yeah..Imma miss Brian. But I hope he gets some playing time someplace else...with the people they have and their dedication to murphy..brian wouldn't have gotten the playing time he deserved. So I think it was the right thing to do, let him go.
but they really need to figure out some more parts cause what they have right now is a mess.
