Glad you're OK, that looks like it could have easily gone very bad for you. Like Joebob, I'm curious where it was? I used to live in GV too.

That was the first right hand turn on E. Benneit (sp??) just as you turn off of Brunswic to head back into town. Far better to have recked there than on Chalk Bluff road heading back to the ranch. I'll have more pictures later tonight that show more from the inside.

Damn, you are quite the lucky fellow to be able to post about your accident: that's one hell of an accident to walk away from. I'm glad to hear everyone made it.

The Subi is done for sure. See if you can buy it back cheap and sell the engine, tranny and other drivetrain bits, it might be worth your while.

As I saw the pictures, I thought it was on Brunswick. There are so many accidents on that road each year. It seems as though all the bad accidents in Grass Valley involve that road.

Good thing I've been a USAA member for 5 years now. Plus for some reason they where insuring a "compact wagon" I can only hope to keep the same good fortunes for the next ride.

Broken links on webpage fixed sorry bout that.

Its definitely totalled... that driver's side pillar looks just like what happened to my 03 WRX after a corkscrew "maneuver" through an irrigation ditch. Did the car roll?
The car did a quarter roll right before impact. That's why the damage is to the roof only. Don't remember any of it. Passenger said the car settled on it's side and we pushed it back over. I don't really remember that.

Was thinking about a roll cage for my next suby
