1) a BOV is the first thing cops will look for. Its a guaranteed ticket.
2) take it off, its not helping your car perform any better then a stock valve

are you running over 20psi that your stock BOV us opening up under pressure?

So you're out ****ing street racing and you're *****ing about a ref ticket for a part that can be swapped out in 5 minutes?

Are you kidding me?

You do realize

that moronic activities like this are what get us all profiled and pulled over, right?

And yeah, put your car entirely back to stock before hitting the ref, or lube up. Your choice.

PenguinPrincess, you might want to do a search in the forum... few have been to state ref before... I've never been to one so can't help you.

Mr. Xevious, your avatar is funny as hell!

If you have removed any of your cats, or swapped them for non CARB approved high flow, the ref will fail you. You must go back to stock there. If you have a cat back that isn't too loud, then it should be fine.

BOV's are silly.. it's like a cop mating call. Get rid of it.

I also fail to see where the cops sucked. You didn't say specifically, but sounds like there was some street racing going on? 35-40 cars, what are they going to do, tow them all? Well.. YES, that's something they could have done if they wanted to play hardball. Sounds like they let you all off pretty easy.

So you were out, engaging in ILLEGAL activities, your car is ILLEGALLY modified, and somehow its the cops fault that you got caught?

Didn't have your bikini handy to strike a quick pose on the roof? they prob would have let you go...maybe even snapped a few pics for ya

I sure hope you wasn't part of the bust and if anything you got real lucky. Just go back to stock and go the ref. Get things cleared up and be done with it. Small price to pay for doing illegal racing anyway. Could have been worse.
