not that my voice matters at all since I'm a newb but I agree a small sized committee might work - anyone watch Sons of Anarchy? We can even do gun runs.... kidding, really.
anyhow, a chair or pres and a small team of 4-5 could work. Everyone needs to provide a commitment of at least one year and be responsible for one or two of the specific areas brucelee mentioned.

That main person needs to be able to make split second decisions on the fly and not have to ask a bunch of people before doing anything (takes way too long).
Roo knows what he's in for and he knows that I will help him in any way that he needs. He can assemble his own team of helpers and do whatever he wants really.
Congrats to Roo for taking over a very special title. I always wondered who I'd pass the torch to...
