Arrow I need some open source tuning!

Anyone know of some reputable shops that do opensource tuning, or similar tuning? Looking for something in the Bay, or Reno area. I'm running a JDM ver8 ecu with Ver8 spec c longblock and wired AVCS. I've called FLI etc but it doesn't seem like they're still offering opensource. Tia!

So I contacted Tim Bailey, hoping he will be in the area soon. Also called a few Reno shops with sketchy reviews. Sucks not being able to use an accessport since every Subaru guy primarily uses them

EQ Tuning is probably your best bet... they are closer to Reno than anyone else (Fairfield)

I had a tune by tim, fivethousand miles later my engine went boom in Tahoe. I now am very happy with my engine and opensource tune from Ed. What do you want to do that's so different that EQ tuning can't do?

It's more about an experience I had with EQ, if you'd like to discuss it you can PM me I'd rather not post it publicly since they've been really good to me. Don't get me wrong Ed is a great tuner, I've had 3 or 4 different maps from him and all were excellent.

not sure which tuners youre talking about but if they are still licensed Ecutek tuners i dont see why they wouldnt still tune them. Mike at GST still tunes Ecuteks.

Negative mate, since my dongle took a dump and it was going to cost more than I would charge for a years worth of EcuTek tunes I don't have the ability to tune with EcuTek anymore.

^ Yea nearly every shop I called isn't offering Ecutek anymore, so a standalone or Opensource are my best bets.

What mods were on the old motor vs your current motor?
