I Need Some Computer Help/Windows XP
So i made the mistake of adding the service pack for xp (the one that does not allow a non-destructive system restore) and my friend accidentaly did a non-destructive system restore.
Now windows won't load up and i get a messege similar to this : "system is not fully loaded please go back to setup". It leaves only one choice "OK". I click ok and it just loops over and over. I don't have a recovery disk, so what are my options. Do I need to take the comp into a store to get it fixed?

have u tried going to the emergency mode? I'd try to get in there. backup all the data files. then reformat and reinstall xp. i'm not sure there is a way to recover your system cause i dont know what SP1 did to not allow those system restores. but it sounds bad!

If you have any data that you want to recover, install windows into a different directory, get your data, and then reformat (NTFS) and reload.
XP is usually pretty stable. Sucks man...good luck,
