go for a mad dad whisper, borla hush, the spt, greddy sp2 or evo, the shinyness can be fixed by just painting over it with black high temperature spray paint or something
I would go with the mad dad over all those other exhausts any day of the week. The quality of the work is top notch and the fitment is great! Plus rich is a great guy and easy to work with. The best thing about getting the whisper through Rich is they have a place on the west coast that can hand build the exhaust and this cuts down on shipping time.
Anyone that owns the whisper back can vouch for its performance, quality of work and most importantly its stealth mode. Its quiet when you need to be but when you get on the throttle, its a nice throaty exhaust note... just the way WRX's should sound.
+1 for Mad dad... advice from someone who has been down the road with a Borla Hush. If you are near South Bay and you want to check out how my STi sounds with the whisper back let me know. During the week I'm in Mtn. View.

93 dB... pretty quiet but you still hear the rumble. Click the link & there are some sound clips as well. If you want to hear it in person, you can check out my car... I live near Westborough.
