To be honest.....you know what you could make badass into a camping/offroad rig and still have good milage is a dodge sprinter with a cummins. They are bigger and look more badass. This transit is lame in general and like u said no eco boost. But the 2.0 na ferd engine in here has more than enough power for the fwd/traction control type driving. Good thing is the tc cuts the throttle 100 % when the front tires loose traction.
Happens when im stopped and cut the wheel n floor it to get the tires to spin.
I like testing things out lol. Esp the conti pro contacts on here. Which arent bad so far.
The Sprinter is awesome, but it is too much money and a bit big.

I like the look of inline blocks. Very clean. I noticed that the inline 6 in general is the most bulletproof setup around.
Jeeps gasser, cummins diesel and nissans gasser. Good engines, very reliable.

If i could have my ultimate rig it would either be a conservatively lifted 07 2500 ram with the 5.9 inline 6.
Then make the turbo sing like a VVT with a metal intake, ported heads and a bigger turbo horn.
I love when all u hear is quietish exhaust and the turbo whistle. And no loud knocking engine like a 12v 5.9.

LOL! Still in the deciding mood actually. Its for my sister/load truck that we would use when working on a few things at the house but if you get one or the other let me know which and why you chose.
