All though there was a hilarious mention of Brawndo/Idiocracy, you're choosing the wrong scape goat. Violence is in human nature, that will never change. Tazers are the means for those who protect us while we sleep to do so without getting killed, and most of the time, do so with less harmful effect that physically subduing a person.

People argue that tazers are torture and that they kill people... If the person wasn't doing something that required less than lethal force to be applied, they wouldn't have felt it in the first place. Period.
