2) if a sports team to you sucks when they can't win a championship, then where the **** are the packers? they lost in the playoffs this year, i don't see your logic in that. If you're going to say that a team like the packers are kick ***, cause they made it to the play offs, then the Raiders, and Niners are right there with them... So, please, don't put down BA sports teams. Sharks do fairly well. Warriors, well, aren't they doing pretty good this year?? Raiders and Niners are pretty solid teams.
Yes, raiders screwed up, and were pretty much raped... royally. They did not prepare, they did not try much at all.

it was the defense that got in his face... MADE him make those errors...
and the fact that they could NOT run againts the bucs D that really nailed it.
gannon is a good qb... but the bucs D ARE that much better!
give the bucs D their props.... they've been doing it ALL SEASON LONG.

The Raiders were too 1 dimensional.. pass pass pass. i dont think i saw them run on any plays. even in the 1st quarter when the game was close.

I'm not taking back anything, i really was rooting for the niners this year so we could have a battle of the bay. that would've been so much fun.
but really, if i'm going to have to sit here and listen to niners fans talk about the raiders and how ****ty they are, i'm not going to sit back and keep quiet, or root for them.

it wasn't that gannon sucked... the bucs defense dominated.
it was the defense that got in his face... MADE him make those errors...
and the fact that they could NOT run againts the bucs D that really nailed it.

I grew up watching the greatest QB evar, Joe Montana, and he faced a tough D the second Superbowl they played against the Bengals, and he struggled through adversity (and injured offensive linemen) to come through with the clutch throw and the win............
Gannon doesn't have it.
Barret Robbins' absence pretty much sealed their fate, as he was a better run-blocker than Treu. Treu pass-blocked fine, but how many carries did Wheatley get? None.......
The Raiders offensive coaching is questionable for not running the football, and for not going downfield with the pass early.

Lincoln Kennedy was too slow, and Sims plain got beat up.
Actually, the Raiders had a chance to run up the middle, because their O-Line outweighed the Bucs D-Line.....losing Robbins to a trip to TJ killed them.............
Plus how do you run the ball without good FB blocking, with Ritchie out with chunks missing from his head (calcium deposits acting up). Randy Jordan is worthless, and neither Crockett nor Wheatley got enough touches.

yeah i was surprized that crocket or wheatly didnt even get to touch the ball the whole game. My dad is one of those band wagon fans and he always says "whenever they need a 3rd down conversion for 3 yeards crocket can do it no matter what" Too bad it was 3rd and long every series. What a boring game, i thought from the beggining that it was going to be a fight for the championship. Also for those of you that out all your money on the raiders it must suck for you. The people i talked to thought TB was going to be nothing and Oakland got a championship. Goes to show look forward to the next game and not the superbowl right away.
As for the Raiders, its over they had their shot this season and the cap is going to get them next year. So put away your flags and jerseys bandwagon fans and maybe you can take them out again in about 20 years.
But for fans like gagan keep rooting for raiders because ill be rooting for the niners. Real fans that stick with their teams.

I feel bad for Bill Callahan, because he has class.....
I'm a Niners fan, but I was rooting for the Raiders in this one because my momz side of my family is all from The 'Town.
Just because I'm a Niners fan doesn't mean that I necessarily care if the AFC or NFC wins if the Niners aren't playing......
When the Packers beat my Niners in the '97 NFC Champs, and went on to play the Broncos, for the only time in my life I rooted for the Broncos..........and the Broncos went on to BEAT PACKER ****...........
