I Just Lost A Good Friend

My friend Vinh Tran was killed last night(8/17) , on bernal ave by 680 freeway right under the overpass. It was a hit and run incident where he was hit while riding his motorcycle. this happened around 12-12:30am. If any of you guys from the east bay might have happened to be in that area and might have saw something, like a car fleeing the scene, please let me know. Ask your friends that live in the plesanton area if they might have seen anything.

RIP Vinh

It was underneath the overpass of the 680 entrance/exit. He was coming from Foothill Rd.

RIP, Vinh.

My condolences. That really sucks that someone would flee a scene, if it's your fault and you hit some one, man up and face it.

Not only that, but render aid if they have survived and call 911. The accident victim can be run over by another vehicle if left laying in the street at night, depending on the location. Sometimes just a few minutes can be critical to saving someone's life.

After an accident, we have certain responsibilities that are more important than worrying about our insurance rate being jacked.

My prayers go out to his family and friends. I can't imagine lossing someone like that. The fact it was a hit and run makes it even worse. Really sorry to hear that.

Hopefully there was more than 1 person in the vehicle that did that and someone talks. That happened to a friend of mine who was hit and run on their bicycle and a girl that was riding in the car talked and they got caught.

sucks to hear man. I know the feeling.
Death is never an easy part of life.
Try and take what you can from the experience, good and bad.

When **** like this happens it really makes you appreciate that you can wake up and live life, weather you your life is good or bad. You still have that.

Best wishes to you and his family, God bless.

dude that's awful...

my friend actually drove past that accident right after it happened! he said there was a yamaha r6 lying destroyed in the middle of bernal and a small crowd of people around someone. he said there was no sign of any other car there. hit and run's are the worst, especially if there is a death involved. the chances of anybody fessing up are slim and none. vihn graduated from foothill, my high school, in 2004, even though i did get to know him, alot of my friends have been affected by the accident.

my thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family. RIP
